P&O 2011 Cruise Itineraries
P&O Cruises have annouced all of their 2011 and early 2012 itineraries.
P&O Cruises is to operate fly-cruise holidays in the Mediterranean for the first time in nearly a decade.
Adonia, will offer six fly-cruises in the Med during late 2011 as part of P&O’s biggest programme. Managing director Carol Marlow said: “Adonia is a smaller ship with a capacity of 700 passengers and allows us to offer itineraries to places off the beaten track where bigger ships cannot go to.” Adonia will be adult only and replace Artemis in the P&O fleet, and start sailing in May 2011.
Other developments include family-friendly ship Oceana offering winter cruises from Southampton between October 2011 and April 2012 with destinations including the Med, Atlantic islands, Caribbean and US.
Both Ventura and Azura will be sailing in the Caribbean for the winter season.
We are offering a bigger range of destinations to the whole of the British market,” added Marlow. “The ships are different sizes but they all offer the P&O cruise experience – it’s all about the British style of cruising which is tailored to the British market.”
P&O will also introduce a new programme of daytime onboard activities called Spotlight.“Spotlight will be on all the ships and will offer talks and workshops on different subject matters,” said Marlow. “We offer a lot of these activities at the moment but now we will pull them together.”
